Popup list is for dedicated keyboard users that only seek for mouse unless necessary. It provides an easy and fast way for users to access to data they copied/cut previously:
-
Press 'Ctrl+Alt+V' (configurable in Option settings)when working with an editing application. The Popup list that displays a list of items you copied/cut previously will appear right below your caret position.
- Holding 'Ctrl+Alt' will keep the Popup list on the screen.
- Holding 'Ctrl+Alt', and pressing 'V' or 'Up/Down Arrow' will allow you to scroll up and down to your desired item to paste.
- After selecting the right item, press 'Enter' or just simply release 'Ctrl+Alt'. The selected item will be pasted to the current caret position.
- If you decide not to paste after using 'Ctrl+Alt+V' to bring up the Popup list you can press 'Esc' to close it.
- If you have configured the shortcut key to be 'Ctrl+V', you will need to press 'Ctrl+V+V' to bring up the Popup list. This means you need to press double 'V' keys while holding the 'Ctrl' key.
